Date: 18/11/19

2.Seconder

I, Janine Booth, member number 12 would like to second Monique Craine in submitting the above constitutional amendment and confirm that I have read this Motion:

Signed: Janine Booth

Date: 16/11/19

Amendment to ND Labour Constitution: Unjustly excluded members

The effect of this is to allow neurodivergent people unjustly excluded from Labour Party membership to apply to become full members (rather than supporters as in the proposed constitution) on the proviso that they do not support candidates or organisations that oppose Labour at elections. This is in line with the rules of several Labour Party affiliates.

Insert at the end of Rule 3(a) Neurodivergent people who feel that they have been unjustly excluded from Labour Party membership may apply to Neurodivergent Labour for membership, so long as they do not currently support an organisation or candidates which opposes the Labour Party at elections. Each individual application will be considered and a decision made at the discretion of Neurodivergent Labour.
