This section will detail the policies that Neurodivergent Labour will decide upon at the founding Annual General Meeting (AGM) in late 2019.
Meanwhile, please see the links in this section of the website to our 5 Key Principles and our Key Policies, taken from the Labour Party Autism Neurodiversity Manifesto.
Ahead of the AGM later this year, we are working in task groups to develop draft policies, practices, processes to put to the membership of ND Labour at the AGM – when the membership will decide on our draft constitution, officers, membership rules and much more at that AGM.
We are also actively promoting our Labour Party Autism Neurodiversity Manifesto broadly across the grass-roots of the Labour Party and the Trade Unions.
We have provided a Model Motion for you to put to TU branches & LP CLPs / branches (see our ND Labour Model Motions page on the ‘Support Us’ dropdown menu for further details), working towards the Manifesto becoming official Labour Party policy – and we can provide speakers for your meetings if you wish. You can also access neurodiversitymanifesto.com for more information.
Details of the AGM will be posted in good time on social media, including on our Neurodivergent Labour Facebook page and this website.
We are mindful of the Equality Act 2010 and good practice in enabling our diverse members to fully engage with the process.
