*Solidarity against fascism!*On Holocaust Memorial Day,
We remember the autistic and other neurodivergent people murdered by the Nazis, including through their ‘Aktion T4’ programme.
We remind everyone of the dangers of ultra-nationalist notions of racial purity and the murderous consequences of this for other ethnic groups and for those who are considered ‘defective’ or ‘not normal’.
We express our solidarity with other groups persecuted by the Nazis, including Jewish people, Romani people, and LGBT+ people.
And, recalling that the Nazis attacked trade unions and socialists in order to crush opposition,
We resolve to step up our resistance to right-wing ideas today and to offer an alternative of equality and liberation through socialism.
