The Care Quality Commission has revealed that staff at the Yew Trees private hospital in Essex dragged, slapped, kicked and shoved patients. The hospital has now been closed.Private operator Cygnet Health Care had a record of inadequate care but was allowed to keep running health and care facilities.Profit will always be the primary concern of a private company.
