21-year-old Osime Brown is autistic, learning disabled, dyslexic and in mental distress. He has been in twenty-eight care home placements, and has been repeatedly failed by the social care and education systems. Osime was jailed in 2018 over
a phone theft, despite a witness stating that he had asked the other teens carrying out the robbery to stop.
Osime has become very ill in prison, and is anxious about deportation to Jamaica, a country he left at the age of four. He has no family network there and is vulnerable to negative influences and bullying. His mother lives in Dudley in the West Midlands.
Neurodivergent Labour supports the campaign to free Osime Brown from prison and allow him to remain in the UK and get the support he needs.
